We went to Yosemite again this year. We went the Sunday to Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I don't know if this is going to be a tradition for us or just an enjoyable way to spend the time at the first of the week during our Thanksgiving trip to California.
The first day was beautiful and sunny. We stumble upon the San Jose Family Camp. The summer before Susette's senior year in high school, she was a camp councilor there. She was excited to see it so we stopped and took a look around. She wanted to explore more, but I was afraid that we might get busted for trespassing or at least yelled at. (it never happened - I am just paranoid)We then stopped at Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. This is the main water supply for San Francisco. Amazing to think how far the water needs to travel before San Franciscans shower in it. Nice place and kind of sad as it was much like a smaller version of Yosemite Valley until they built the dam.
